In 2006, a group of Baptist Believers covenanted together to charter Lighthouse Baptist Church in Newark, New York.
In her brief history, God has showered innumerable blessings on His church. Almost immediately, the church was able to miraculously secure a beautiful, historic building for use as a meetinghouse, which she owns outright. LBC has refurbished an exquisite, mid-20th century office building. The large, renovated structure provides an excellent space for worship and ministry. Through the years, God has used LBC to reach her community through the preaching of the Gospel and her Bible-based ministries. LBC's divine impact has been witnessed through the many converted souls, changed lives, rescued homes, and healed hearts throughout her community and the immeasurable fruit of her many supported missionaries on the foreign field.
Although the devil fights and frail humans falter, God has always been faithful to His church. He has blessed and strengthened this persevering Body of Believers, as they've served Him, both, during trials and triumphs. Today, a spiritually strong remnant of devoted saints remain, and are committed to the daunting task of serving God in His church until Jesus returns for His Bride.
